WIIN has been fortunate to have several Founders, Managing Directors of Funds, a Founding Member of CGAP, a Former CEO of OPIC, Head of IFC's Secretariat, Operating Principles for Impact Management, a Former CEO of Calvert Impact Capital among others to moderate and speak as part of our learning series and showcase their leadership to grow the impact investing sector.​ Past topics covered impact investing vehicles and development finance, impact investing careers, impact management, emerging technologies, gender and racial lens investing, and agricultural financing.

The Women Impact Investing Network (WIIN) together with the Women Innovators and Leaders Network (WILD Network hosted a fireside chat with two great trailblazers in the impact and development space.  The event captured the interplay between international development and impact investing. The dialogue  highlighted how professionals in both fields can break down silos to improve collaboration and it will provide insights into the journeys, successes, and challenges of these two amazing entrepreneurs.

Promoting Wellness during the Pandemic Era

WIIN is brought together a panel of women to share their experiences in how they've balanced working in impact investing while ensuring they are taking care of their own wellbeing in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The panel addressed the topic from several angles, including how women, especially mothers, in the industry are coping during COVID-19, how employers/managers can support their teams, and share some tips on promoting individual wellness during a time when boundaries often get de-prioritized especially for those working in mission-based industries.
